PCN Flyaway Kit · Expeditionary

Private cellular. In hours.

The full Sapphire PCN platform — governance, policy engine, SIM/eSIM identity, same app — packed into three transit cases. Not a different product.

01 — THE KIT

Three cases. One private network.

The same Sapphire PCN platform in portable form — same governance, same policy engine, same SIM/eSIM identity, same app.

Portable mast erected in the fieldCase 01

Tower Kit

Mast, antenna, and mounting hardware — coverage stood up wherever the mission lands.

Open transit case with LTE/5G radio equipmentCase 02

Radio Kit

LTE/5G radio and the Sapphire core platform — the private network in a single transit case.

LEO satellite terminal deployed on the groundCase 03

Satellite Kit

LEO satellite backhaul — connectivity anywhere, independent of local terrestrial infrastructure.

Time to service

Unpack. Configure. Activate. Users connect the same day — no construction, no permits, no build cycle.

02 — CAPABILITIES

What the kit gives you

Everything that makes the permanent Sapphire PCN trusted — packed to move at the speed of the mission.

C1Operational in hoursUnpack, configure, activate — same day. No construction, no permits, no waiting on a build cycle.
C2Same Sapphire platformSame governance, policy engine, app, and SIM identity. The platform you'd run permanently, in a case.
C3No fixed infrastructureThe kit generates its own coverage. Everything needed to stand up the network arrives in the cases.
C4Satellite backhaul built inLEO satellite connectivity anywhere — regardless of local terrestrial infrastructure or its condition.
C5Fully redeployableThe mission relocates; the kit moves with it. Same identities, no re-enrollment.
03 — WHERE IT DEPLOYS

Coverage before infrastructure exists

Use case 01

Temporary bases

Early-entry sites get governed coverage from hour one — before any permanent infrastructure exists.

Use case 02

Training & ranges

Remote and dispersed areas get governed mobile service without a permanent build.

Use case 03

Surge & contingency

When infrastructure is disrupted, the Flyaway Kit replaces it in hours — not weeks.

Use case 04

Forward support

Contractors and support missions get governed access with proper segmentation.

04 — SECURITY

The same posture — in the field.

Identity-based access, traffic segmentation, and separation from DoD mission systems — from day one, on day-one infrastructure.

Governing principle

Expeditionary doesn't mean exempt.

The kit enforces the same policy engine as a permanent installation. Every connection is authenticated, segmented, and visible to the operator from the first hour of service.

  • SIM/eSIM authentication from the first connection. Access granted, changed, or revoked centrally — even in the field.

  • Distinct traffic domains for personnel, contractors, and support missions — each with its own policy, from day one.

  • Physically and logically separate from DoD mission networks. Personal traffic never routes across NIPR, SIPR, or other mission systems.

05 — KIT VS. PERMANENT

Start with the kit. Scale to the build.

Two form factors, one platform. The kit deploys today; the permanent PCN scales the installation — with no re-enrollment.

06 — DEPLOYMENT

Four phases. Same-day service.

PHASE 01

Arrive & site check

Position the cases, confirm power and placement for mast and satellite terminal.

PHASE 02

Stand up the radio

Erect the mast, mount the antenna, and bring the LTE/5G radio online.

PHASE 03

Activate core & policy

Sapphire core up, segmentation and traffic policy enforced from the first connection.

PHASE 04

Enroll users

SIM/eSIM profiles issued; users connect the same day with the standard Sapphire app.

OPERATIONS

Managed from day one

DHI's Global NOC monitors the Flyaway Kit 24/7 — remote management, real-time alarms, and fault isolation. No on-site IT team required.
